My Etsy favorites wishlist is long and varied. But lately it has been focused on one thing - the kitchen. We are moving in just a couple weeks into an 80 year old house, and the kitchen needs some new paint, a good scrub, and some pops of fun, cheerful color (especially yellow!) to bring it back to life.
Here is what my kitchen needs to resuscitate it for under $100 at Etsy.com -
This sunny yellow linen tea towel from Sweet Natured Designs ($16.00)
This pretty blue (or maybe the white? I am still undecided!) unpaper (cloth) towel dispenser from Made in the Red Barn ($36.00)
An adorable ginko leaf plate to use as a spoon rest from Sumiko ($12.00) -
Reusable cloth, waterproof bowl and pan covers from Sew Much Style ($30) Seriously, how cheery would it be to open up the fridge and see these? -
And lastly, to keep my hands happy with all the scrubbing I'll be doing in this kitchen, some lovely, all natural soap from Simply Suds Handmade Soap ($4.00) -
Wasn't this fun? Even better, if you do the same, you can be entered to win everything on your $100 or less list! Just head over to Craft Gossip, read the entry rules, and get list making! I totally want to win my list (and my new kitchen wants me to as well - it told me) but good luck to you too!

Novica - an awesome site
We are trying to purchase more items now that are Fair Trade certified - especially chocolate. The good stuff tastes better anyway. In a similar vein, Novica.com is a website that is focused on bringing attention to incredibly talented artisans worldwide of items such as home goods, jewelry, and art.
It is a fun site to browse, and you should also stop by Momma Told Me to enter her giveaway for a $40 gift certificate to Novica. Even better than browsing all of the awesome stuff is getting something unique for free or discounted!

Info on a Flor giveaway
We sold our small 70's ranch, and in less than a month are closing on our fabulous 80 year old dream house.
Emily Clark is hosting a Flor giveaway over on her blog, and while I wish you luck I am crossing my fingers to win so I can put these carpet tiles from Flor -
